Flappy Bird HIIT
Pedal to fly. Match the interval lane. Survive the workout.
Flappy Bird HIIT is a cadence-powered interval training game built for indoor cycling. Instead of tapping a screen, you control the bird by pedaling faster or slower. Stay in the target lane during work intervals, recover during rest intervals, and try to score perfect passes for bonus points.
What you need
- A stationary bike or spin bike
- A Bluetooth LE cycling cadence sensor (any standard CSC sensor works)
- Chrome or Edge on a desktop/laptop (Web Bluetooth is required)
How to play
- Connect your sensor or use the keyboard simulator to test.
- Set your interval targets — work RPM, rest RPM, duration, and lane tolerance.
- Click Start Workout to go fullscreen and begin the session.
- Pedal harder to climb. Ease off to descend.
- Each work/rest switch gives you a ~5 second buffer with no pipes so you can adjust your cadence before the next lane appears.
Features
- Live Bluetooth cadence streaming
- Customizable HIIT intervals (length, work/rest times, target RPM, tolerance)
- Visual target RPM indicator and transition countdowns
- Score, lane accuracy, and streak bonuses
Tips
- Use the Workout Setup button mid-session to tweak targets without leaving fullscreen.
- If your sensor reading seems jumpy, make sure it has a fresh battery and is mounted securely on the crank.
- The lane tolerance setting lets you widen or narrow the “perfect pass” window.
Built with Phaser 3, Vite, and the Web Bluetooth API.
